Multiple Specimen size, type and test ages

Currently, a test age can only be used for one specimen size and type.  But some of our labs test multiple specimen sizes and types and I would like to set the defaults to accommodate all possible specimen sizes and corresponding test ages.  This will cut down on unnecessary data entry every time my specimen size/type changes.  I have to manually change now because that "test age" is spoken for with the current default settings.

Would it be acceptable to be able to create predefined Groups of tests, like a group for  7 & 28 day 4x8s, and another for 7 & 28 6x12s and another for flex beams? You could switch between groups with just a couple of keystrokes, rather than do full data entry to create new specimens. This is a lot like what we do with grid layouts.

I just worry about taking up a lot of empty database space if we put ALL specimens into ALL samples.

We will investigate this issue and determine whether it will work with our structure. Thx for the comment.
